The Full Story
About
Capable Kids is a pediatric occupational therapy–informed practice dedicated to supporting children’s development, regulation, and participation in daily life. Our services are grounded in occupational therapy principles and focus on helping children build the foundational skills needed to engage successfully at home, in school, and within their communities.

Through a family-centered, non-clinical model, Capable Kids supports children by addressing underlying sensory, motor, emotional, and executive functioning needs that impact everyday routines and learning. We work collaboratively with parents to develop practical strategies that fit naturally into daily life, honoring each child’s unique developmental path.

Mission
The mission of Capable Kids is to support children’s development and participation through pediatric occupational therapy–informed services that address sensory regulation, executive functioning, and daily life skills.
We partner with families to provide education, guidance, and practical strategies that support children’s ability to engage in routines, learning, and play with confidence and success.

Vision
Our vision is for children to feel capable, regulated, and confident as they participate fully in their daily lives.
We envision families who feel empowered with understanding and tools, children who are supported through developmentally appropriate strategies, and environments that nurture growth, independence, and meaningful engagement.
