In-Person Services Liability Disclaimer
Capable Kids, LLC provides pediatric occupational therapy–informed, non-clinical services that may involve movement, play-based activities, and engagement in everyday environments. While reasonable care is taken to create a safe and supportive setting, participation in in-person services may involve inherent risks associated with physical activity.

By participating in in-person services, parents and guardians acknowledge and understand that minor injuries may occur despite appropriate supervision and precautions.
Parents agree to assume responsibility for their child’s participation and release Capable Kids, LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives from liability for injuries that may occur during in-person services, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Participation in services is voluntary and at your own discretion.

8. Confidentiality & Communication
Capable Kids is committed to protecting client privacy and maintains practices designed to comply with applicable HIPAA privacy and security standards. Information shared during services is handled with care, professionalism, and appropriate safeguards consistent with these requirements.

Capable Kids uses secure systems for documentation, communication, and record management whenever possible. However, no method of electronic communication is completely secure. By communicating via email, online forms, or video platforms, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with electronic communication.
