In-Person OT Developmental Support

Service Description

Hands-on, OT-informed support for families in Fulton County, Atlanta. In-person services focus on supporting participation in real-life environments for children with sensory, regulatory, executive functioning, ADHD-related, or learning-based challenges, including dyslexia. Support may include: • Sensory regulation and emotional regulation strategies • Executive functioning skill development • Attention, organization, and task completion support • Participation strategies for children with ADHD-related challenges • OT-informed support for children with dyslexia focused on engagement, stamina, and confidence in learning activities • Parent education and carryover strategies WHAT OT-INFORMED MEANS: An OT-informed approach recognizes that children with ADHD or dyslexia often experience challenges not because of lack of ability, but because underlying sensory, regulatory, or executive functioning systems are still developing. Occupational therapy principles help identify what supports are needed so children can participate more confidently in learning, routines, and daily activities.
