Service Description
This comprehensive evaluation provides parents with a deeper understanding of their child’s functional strengths and areas of need through OT-informed observation and standardized assessment tools. The evaluation is designed to identify patterns related to regulation, sensory processing, executive functioning, and participation in daily activities. Information gathered is synthesized into a clear, parent-friendly written report that helps guide decision-making, supports conversations with educators when appropriate, and informs next steps for support. This service is educational and non-clinical and does not provide medical diagnosis. What This Evaluation Includes • OT-informed intake and review of background information • Administration of standardized assessment tools appropriate to the child’s age and needs • Observation of regulation, attention, sensory processing, and functional skills • Analysis of how identified needs may impact participation at home, school, and daily routines • A written summary report outlining: • Areas of strength • Areas of support • Practical recommendations • Suggested next steps What Parents Gain • Clear, structured insight into their child’s needs • Objective information to guide support decisions • A written report that can be shared with educators or other professionals, as appropriate • A stronger foundation for future services or parent strategies Important Note This evaluation is OT-informed and educational in nature. It does not include diagnosis, therapy, or medical treatment, and is not intended to replace clinical evaluations.
Cancelation Policy
- In-person sessions require 24 hours’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling. - Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed sessions, are considered used. - Travel time and limited in-person availability make short-notice cancellations difficult to accommodate.
